The day after conferences is a day off at our school. This is what makes conferences bearable for me. I know that I only teach four days and get a Friday off.
How do I spend these days off you ask? Doing absolutely nothing.
Since it is after conferences, I don’t feel like I have any work to do. My grade’s are caught up and I use my break time during conferences to prep and plan for next week. It is a 3 day weekend spent taking bubble baths, catching up on TV, going to Target, and napping.
Today has been a much needed break. 10 more school days till Spring Break!
