Teachers don’t make a lot of money. Being an intern, I make half of what a teacher would make. I am definitely rolling in the dough over here. I need a way to feed my teacher office supply addiction.
I was recently introduced to this magical place called naeir.org. If you haven’t heard of it, here is the scoop.
This is a nonprofit organization that gets things donated to it. They sell it for just handling charges! You need to sign up for a teacher membership. It takes about 2-3 days for them to approve you. Then, the fun begins.
You need to dedicate at least 3 hours to browsing this website. The treasures you can find are magical. There is also some weird stuff. Anyone need 12 Obama medallions?
There is a lot that is sold in HUGE quantities. The discount makes it worth it usually though.
If you sign up for this website, prepare to be addicted. They switch out their inventory often. You need to browse it every now and then to see what is new.
Let me tell you some of my best purchases from that website.
55 Dry erase markers: $7
60 Mr. Sketch Scented Markers $10
48 Cat shaped Post-it Notes $1 (Don’t ask me why I thought I needed these. I just did.)
Right now they have a set of 10 dry erase markers, all the same color for $1.50.
It really is a great site. You need to spend $25 dollars minimum. It is pretty easy to do. Go ahead and sign up.
You can thank me later!
Thanks for sharing, gonna go sign up right now!

What a great site. All sorts of gems you can find.
P.S. I am sure your students would love to get a message from you on one of those Post It Notes – you’d use them up in no time.
